Excellent times. How much does not running a bumper help? Not talking **** just want to know if you have before and after.

Thanks man, I don't mind even if you were..no big deal to me.

The bumper weighs 38lbs. I have run 95% of the time with it on. I have not run back to back to tell if it helps. All my best times were in -550 to -1200 DA and I had the bumper off. Times were 11.17 & 11.18 on different days.

I have run 11.346 @ 117.63 mph in regular air and cut a 1.575 on ET Street drag radials, with the bumper on. Fact is though, the bumper and sway bar is almost 80lbs off the nose, so it has to help some.

I made an excel spread sheet today, logging all my runs since Jan 03, 2009. Pretty cool looking at everything all together.

here was my post from another forum:

Well I didn't post up because I was pissed with my tranny still not shifting. I raced only 2 runs in Valdosta Ga on Saturday, DA was -650 area.

I ran 12.5 psi cold in Hoosier slicks. Those not familiar with my suspension, I have the K-concepts 4-link (supposedly not for drag racing) with QA-1 shocks set on as soft as possible and a rear sway bar. Front is lower springs and stock Bilstein truck shocks, no sway bar. I launched from 1100 rpm and that SOB hooked so hard I couldn't even believe it. I felt the truck shutter 5-6 times as it grabbed for traction. I was thinking...MF'er, here is my ten second run. Well it all went away fast as my tranny bounced off the limiter several times till I lifted, then the same thing happened on the 2-3 shift, but I lifted faster. She ran 11.8 @ 114 mph...really bad !
Here is the kicker...my sixty foot was only 1.548, which is what I run when I just roll out and get into the gas. I am waiting on the vids now so I can see if maybe some wheel spin was in the game holding my sixty foot from any lower. I have never had anything his so hard in my life. It felt as if someone ran into the back of me, and then I see it wasn't even an improvement on my sixty.

We reset the shift points again and I got back up quick. Tires were 13.5 this run and she did a 1.568 sixty and didn't feel very special like the first run. Anyway, I was ready for the tranny and as soon as it hit the limiter, I lifed each gear and ran 11.6 @ 114. Now we had a terrible headwind of 15-19mph at least, so that could be some of my mph loss, plus the lifting of the throttle, but I was down 5 mph and 5 tenths. At that point they started some arm drop games, so I was done for the day. Auto tranny's suck Snot !!!

Vids to come soon I hope. I am dying to see the launches !!

EDIT: How's 12.5-13.5 PSI feel on the top end?
