what should a stock 5.3 silverado 1/4 mile time be?

 

15.6 -16.1 depending on weight, track conditions, weather, driver, and other things.

what drop do you have it must be either a 5/7 or 'bags...

 

I ran a 15.6 @ 87 about a month or so ago in 90ish degree heat at HRP. Bone stock 06 RCSB Silverado no weight reduction, and 1/4 tank of 87 octane. Others have ran a lot better times stock than me though so don't take my word for it lol.

 

I ran 15.8 stock on 20x9's with 285 50 20's. It was about 95* or so.

 

I ran a best of 15.347 bone stock on the OEM 20" SS wheels (04 RCSB) and then 15.007 in the same truck with the same wheels with only a CAI and shorty headers.

 

14.90's to 15.30's

 

15.0's..

 

Tonight I ran my 06' GMC rclb , work truck ,5.3 , 3400 miles 15.50@89

 

Ran my truck tonight in 98 degree midwest weather. 15.29@94 with mods in my sig. I think the tune needs some help. I need to get some 4.10's!
