its funny because i think it would actually be cheaper to do a LSx based 408 and swap it in than to do a magnum based one.


out stuff is too expensive! and we cant ever tune! why cant we have magnum-edit or HP tuners for it????

Yea the FAST setup is getting cheaper. $1900

Scream keeps joking around about dropping that LS1 into a GEN II dakota.

I'd do a carbed 340-based stroker before I did that.

BTW, don't all you Dodge guys go running around and tell everyone, but I'm a closet Mopar fan from waaaaay back.

Truer words have never been spoken.... I can live ( barely and because I have to ) with the expense, Chevy will always be less expensive to mod if for no other reason than more people do them. IF we ever get a tuning program them we in the Mopar clan will be on a much more even playing field with the Chevy guys.
