Why is it that the cubic inches thing always comes up when talkin to a Chevy guy? Y'all don't want to compare the 5.3 vs. 5.7. Instead y'all want it to be the 6.0 vs. 5.7. What about the 6.0 vs. 6.1? I guess now it'll be the 6.2 vs, 6.1.

im happy with my lil ol 5.3. itll stick it to most hemis on the road. last time at the track i beat a hemi magnum twice. but then he got in his 12 second camaro and ripped me a new one i just brought up cubic inches because my times were being knocked with my entire 7 performance mods. and i did use the ls1 5.7 as a comparison to the hemi instead of the 6.0. going for 13's N/A on factory heads and cam on sunday! wish me luck

I'm so used to hearin it though. Everywhere I go it's "Well you've got a 5.7/5.9 and I've only got a 5.3", how quickly they forget that they have the weight advantage though. Ya should have the 13s... Keep us posted. My buddy race a SRT-8 300 the other day and the 300's torque management kicked in and he got beat...until it downshifted twice... I hate torque management>

This arguement is pretty pointless. I mean who in their right mind would actually want to race a truck? I mean ,they are like briks going through the wind, they are heavy, and made to haul stuff in the beds. I mean sheish, especially the 4wd guys. I vote for leaving them all stock, or just doing stuff to get better milage
