Hey guys. I need a christmas favor-

my friend is flying home to california for the holidays and will be home mid-January so I have his truck till then-

He has a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab (automatic) with the 4.7 V8 and it has no cruise control. Which sucks. He also has roll up windows and manual door locks too, but im not concerned with that.

How would I go about retrofitting his truck with cruise control? What trucks can I find the parts from for his truck? The steering wheel design has the "blanks" where the cruise control buttons can go, and I have seen other dodge trucks come in the shop (im a mechanic) with factory cruise control, so I know it does exist.

Is this a "common" thing for dodge guys to rob cruise controls and put them in their manual trucks? I would really like to have this done by the time he gets back, he would really appreciate it.

Btw- I do realize this will probably run close to 300, thats fine.
