M&H also makes a 12'' wide drag radial that is 28' tall. The problem is finding the correct width rim. I have both the M&H 8.8" drag radials on steel factory 17" rims and a set of Hoosier's on Weld 16X10'' rims. You do have to take down material off the calipers to make them work, but I would rather have real sticky's for the strip.

With well over 400, supercharged rwhp, they hooked up with no problems. Problem is, now with the extra 200 rwhp, I just need more tire. The tires are 28" tall. with the stock 3.92's it gave me close to a 4.40 rearend. I went through the traps at 5100 rpm. I'm hoping that a manufacture will come out with a 17" by 29" or 30" tall slick soon. If they do, I'll be dropping to 4.56's.

I have both the M&H drag radials and the Hoosier drag slicks. Both are 28" tall. The M&H fit on the 17" rim and need no modifications for your truck. If you use the Hoosies, be prepared to.....Let's say, I hope you have patience.

i am used to spending time trying to get wheels to go on something they dont belong on, hell i got a 94 nissan hardbody body dropped on 20" intro's. now that's serious surgery getting that to work. correct me if i am wrong, but the mods to make the slicks work will probably be the way to go. what is your opinion between the two on your truck, which one do you like the best?

The drag radials worked real well for last season. Really dropped my 60 times. With the new motor putting out 800hp, I really need the true slicks. I hope the manufacture's will come out with some more rim and tire selections this year. That way I can change the gear ratios instead.

jdunnington, If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it! This was only your second post on this site? I think you started off on the wrong foot. It seems you pushed the brake instead of the gas. Oh yeah. If I remember right, you drive an inline 6 banger, don't ya.
