Default possible future Ram owner

What's up guys? I've been doing some searching here on the board and just wanted to get some comments. Sometime in the near future I may be getting a crew cab truck and wanted to get some info on the Rams. Are there any notorious issues that these trucks have? I've heard from various different people that the transmissions tend to have issues, but others have said they absoutely love their trucks and have had zero issues at all. If I do get one, it will be 4x4 with the Hemi. I'm all ears so let me know what you think.

The 3rd gens are lightyears ahead of the older models, better trannnys and brakes, mine has had one issue ( gas gauge has a spot where the gauge goes dead and can have it fixed under warranty.... it is a $300 + part but I will replace it with a 04 and up used part as it is a higher fuel pressure pump. fuel pump, filter and guage are all one piece ) besides the Rotor TSB..... I have been anything but easy on my truck, I have literally 400 + timeslips at the 1/4 mile track with virurally no problems whatsoever...
Now there have been many problems that others have reported, valve spring breakage, mostly on 03s, tranny issues when higher HP levels are reached and perhaps others if you check out some of the other Dodge Boards...
I love my truck and someday will be running with the fastest of any of the Chevys here...

Only had two issues with mine, differential seal leaked and had a differential carrier gear break some teeth, all were repaired at the 15K warrrenty check. Now I have a little over 42K and no issues at all. I like my Ram more than my two previous trucks, a 95 and 00 Sliverado.

Warped Rotors at 8K miles. Posi clips in the rear diff went at 20K miles. Power steering rack had a leak at 50K miles. No other problems to report. I beat this truck up at the track, drive 3500miles to San Fran and back a couple times now, haul a cubic yard of road crush, dirt, rock, brick. Truck is holding up good considering.

Warped rotors, piece of crap reluctor ring if you make the power "will break on some models and take out your pistons". Some axles have broken on normal drivers not many though! And Not very computer friendly for tuning!
