I'm thinking the full tank of gas held it back also.......

On most my 12.0 passes I removed the center and seats & pulled the bed bar, thats how I get close to 5K lbs. other year models are about 400 lbs lighter though. I think 07's are a few hundred lbs lighter so you have a bit of a head start weight wise.
and usually with 5-8 gallons of fuel. I've got the optional 35 gallon tank and it's hard to get that one down to under 5 gallons.
Most of the other weight reductions have been permanent, I started out at 5630 with no spare no fuel before I started removing stuff

Weight reduction list that I did:

Spare
Center Console
Jack
Tailgate
Passenger Seat
Rear Seats

Also start running a short belt to bypass your A/C and power steering...

Also noticed it only hooked up while in 4wd, threw her in 2wd and did nothin but spin......with all the torque I have, cant seem to put it to the ground rite...

What tire pressure are you running in your rear tires? Get yourself some spring clamps and clamp the front of the overloads to the leafs.
