Hmmm, maybe I bought my CC stuff too early?!?

If your sticking with the 5.7 cam you should be okay with the rocker issue. It's only going to the 6.1 or another high lif,t after market cam, is when you should be concerned.

I have just got to wonder.....just how much pressure will the stock rocker take? I for one am just NOT impressed by the looks of the rocker, just does not look very strong to me.... I am also wondering how far off the ratios are from the blueprint.... have seen many stock rockers that were laughable on the ratio... I would love to see some rollers come out, I only know of one person working on them..

I think I read somewhere that Stu was working on them but I am under the impression that he would be trying to find production facilities..

SharaDon is also working on them. So far we see an issue with valve cover heights and coil packs. It's still a long way off with the high lift solid cams working with the stock PCM. Hot rodders can enjoy it though, just not us truck guys for the moment.

Well the valve cover height may not be a problem. I'm working on something with a local machine shop that may help with that (wasnt trying to for that reason but if it makes it where they will work, sweet!). Now the coil packs... that's different. I havent even thought about them. Without my truck here it's difficult for me to get creative. I don't think about all of the obstacles if I can't see them.

I "think" (thats funny isnt it) my 220/230-547/557 114 cam is out and a 228/224-554/547 115+4 is going in. It should work better with boost. Anyone have any thoughts on that? If not, I may post it over in the Forced Induction section to see if anyone will help a Dodge guy LOL

Anyway- how would the rollers benefit us?

Rollers will reduce friction and wear plus allow for faster rev's. May not benefit the F/I folks but personally I'll take any help we can get these days!
The cam specs you posted will be better for the turbo ( split duration with higher intake value, larger LSA ). The +5 advance will help off the line but require a bit more tuning work to avoid detonation ( BAD, trust me! ).
As always we are looking forward to the end results!
