I'm going to pick on my friend now because when the tuning does become available for the Dodge he will be after me

He traded in his Viper truck for this mega cab so I know it feels slow to him. He may not even want to run it.

 

did u ever race him in his srt10? with ur numbers it should be pretty close

 

Again, being a Hemi fan, The SRT10, would have handed it to you.

 

We raced once. At the track, 1/8 mile.

We both launched shitty. He ran a 11.1 and I ran a 10.1. That was with my 5.3 @ 9psi. It was also the run I popped the #7 cylinder. So I couldn't race again. He got it down to a 9.0 by the end of the night.
Now I have the 6L and some other goodies I was hoping to race again but he traded it in yesterday without warning. I figure if I can run a 9 in the 1/8 one day then I can give him ****. I wish there was a 1/4 mile track around me
I figure in a street race I would take him out of the hole but he would reel me in real quick and put a length on me by 100.

 

The MegaCab will be no contest for you.... what the hell was he thinking going from a SRT10 to a MegaCab.... and thinking it is going to be fast??? no wonder it feels slow to him...

oh, but you better watch out for some of the RSBC Hemis.... I run a 8.7 in the 1/8th N/A with a lot less Mods but then I weigh lot less

 

The best part is, if I raced a reg cab Hemi truck and lost...its not like he can go brag to his buddies that he beat a Tahoe. His buddies would be like . However, if I beat him then he loks like a tool.

I dont think me buddy was hoping the new mega cab would be fast. He was just trying to justify trading the Viper in. To me and himself. lol.
