Default comp cams in a hemi

hey guys we just did a cam swap in a 11 model ram with a 5.7 and the tech said it runs fine but when you go to stand on it he says there is no throttle response and no power down low but starts pulling hard up top. the tech tells me a stock hemi would blow the doors off this cammed hemi. any ideas of what might be the issue.

has it been tuned? far as I knew B&G were the only ones who could reflash a '10 pcm for this kind of mod. If theyre saying any other tuner besides them did the tune I think there fibbing! But its in the tune for sure I installed a cam in the silverado in my sig and before i tuned it it really wasnt any faster

what cam did you put in? if you change nothing else putting a big cam will kill your low end and you need to make other modifications to make up for that, most commonly lower gears and/or a higher stall torque converter. tuning is also critical for it to run right...

well, a cam like that probably has a pretty long duration and will kill the low end and pull hard up top. he needs higher stall converter to keep in the power. lower gears will help too. then it will rip.
