When will Dodge the 6.7 cummins?

All I hear now is that the duramax will be the hp/tq leader in 2006.5. Surely the 2007 dodge will step up with something better. I know that most anyone could get by with 500lbs/ft of tq in every day life but who wants to have the "weak" diesel in the bunch. I got my dodge knowing it might not be the fastest but it would last the longest and pull the most and that if i sunk a few dollars into it, it would run as fast or faster than the others. I will be looking for a new truck for 07 and hope that dodge will throw some numbers out there.

I could see them using Cummins in the trucks still, but they will probably use the smaller mercedez desiels for there suv's cars and such, as the Jeep Liberty all ready does.
All I've heard about the 6.7L is it could happen.

I work at a chrysler dealer and I can tell you, the chance that dodge ditches Cummins to run their own Mercedes diesels is very slim, the Mercedes could be offered in smaller vehicles though. I wouldn't mind seeing one in a car to compete with the VW TDI and such.
