So tell us how is your truck holding up, and why are you considering the CTD?
Thanks! Same old crap, different day is what's up. LOL! My Ram is fine, no complaints really. I've never owned a diesel and what what I've been reading, you can make some crazy power with just a few mods, make it faster than a Hemi Ram and get better mpg to boot. Who wouldn't want that? It probably won't happen though, just thinking.

You can see my dyno number in my sig with the old Cummins and just free mods. Not too bad for a couple pump adjustments, strait pipe exhaust on a motor with 236,600 miles on it.

Best part is, i get just over 20mpg AROUND TOWN!!!!!! On the highway it seems to be 21-23, depending on the additive i use in that tank. Milage could be better than that even, but i dont have an OD.

Intake stuff shipped out on Friday, I haven't received it yet. I'll snap some photos of whatever they send me and post them.

As for an overview of my Dodge, its a great truck. Seems a little better built than the GMC I replaced, and it moves quite well for a big *** truck. I've got about 29K miles on it in less than a year, and have had no problems with it. Towing with this thing is just awesome! Right now I'm averaging about 14.9 mpg mixed city/highway driving. On the interstate it pulls down 17-18 mpg when cruising 75 or so. Gets about 14 mpg when towing my open car hauler with a 3400 lb f-body on it.

I have a 2005 2500 4x4 with the cummins. It has pretty good power stock if you want a fast diesel, however, stock for stock a chevy will beat it. I raced my brothers 2004 hemi quad cab when mine was stock and he beat me easily by a few lengths. I bought a quadzilla xzt box and an aeroturbine exhaust shortly after. We raced the other day and i put 2 lengths on him up to 85. I would seriously look at the 06.5 chevy model whenever it comes out. They are upping the power quite a bit and dodge is supposed to do the same with the 07 model.
