We got the SMARTY programmer in yesturday and were playing with it last night and it does some funny things when you first punch it it jumps up to 3k-3200rpms and sits there almost like the tranny is slipping horribly but then after a few seconds it pulls hard.

Any ideas??

Yeah, lower it down to level 2. Dodges tranny's on the cummins can only take like 75 horse before biting the dust. It was just your transmission telling you something bad was about to happen.
