Default Using '05 GTO instrument cluster in older truck

I am installing a 6.0/4L80E in a 1967 Chevy truck and wondering if anybody out there has used an '05 GTO instrument cluster for a retrofit like this?

Wow, I have never seen one, doesn't mean it isn't out there. I would imagine it could be done. Should look pretty sweet.

My plan is to modify a truck cluster to provide instrumentation for my 67 truck conversion. I'm not sure if it will need the BCM or not to fully function, but I may end up running it anyway. I figure it would be nice to have all the extra bells and whistles (like auto headlamps) that a more modern truck has.
