oh btw, last time i was at the track (1/8th) it ran a 8.2 @ 84mph.

had the slipping converter, a 3psi launch and 15psi of boost.

now with the rebuilt converter (its tight now), the nice big K&N and running 19psi. it should be mid 12's conservatively.

I wanna get a solid 1/4 mile run, before i plug in the meth injection.

Well its parked for the winter. Stopped at the dyno before i put it away.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpFJHINrCYU

didn't go over 4800rpms, but i hit 140mph. Cam is set for 5500rpms. still have some tweaking to do.

To date, best 1/8th mile is 7.9 @ 86mph, with a 1.7 60'. spinning all four tires.

Winter mods include Nitto 555R drag radials, a set of Battle Bar traction bars, and some driveshaft loops.

Your Sy is sick.

Are you ever tempted to take it for a spin in the snow?

This thread is 2 years old, I think if he hadn't figured it out by now it's apart by now.

Well i killed the motor. After 5 seasons its finally cooked. Its gone through several turbos and intercoolers since i updated this thread. Currently its the same longblock, stock block/crank, eagle rods, alum pistons, iron heads, stock int/ext manifolds. It has a 6265 billet PTE turbo, and a homemade air-air.

At a SyTy meet over the summer i had it on the dyno, 460/565 at the wheels. Safe tune, since i had to drive it 400 miles home.

Went to the track a few weeks ago for TnT. Warm night, running the 17" Yokohama street tires. I pegged the knock sensor getting into 3rd gear. And I could hear the rod knock on the return road. Still pulled a 1.6 60ft, 7.2@94, and a 11.5@112 letting off.

So i'm gonna tear it down this winter. Fix the broken stuff, and run race gas instead of 93 next year.
