I have a 99 OBS...need room some gauges.

I don't like our console b/c existing gauge pods are like cutting two holes into a blank insert.

I found online and purchased a 2001 Overhead console from a NBS. I like that route better b/c the gauge pod actually faces the driver.

Has anyone ever done the swap? Wires match up? Seem to look similar. I heard the NBS consoles were different b.c they have to fit contour of roof. I hope the contour works in my favor.

me too! How do I pop out the dome lights so I can swap some LEDS in? What size bulb is it?

 

The clear cover on the dome light will just pop off with a flat head screw driver. The dome lights are 194's. You can find 194 leds on ebay for pretty cheap. Hope it works out, that would look good in there.

 

Where did you find the pod? Only thing I can find is flat pods.

 

There was a member who was making them almost 10 years ago, but stopped. You might find someone selling one of those, but I haven't been able to find one either.

 

There is a guy that makes a billet one still. I can't remember the name. If you can get me measurements I may be able to 3D print you one...
