My brother inlaw and I are going to get into trail riding again. We picked up this 87 V-10 for a good price. Guy kicked in a pair of axles too. Dana 44 front and 14 bolt rear, with 4.56's and a Detroit Tru Track in the rear. Picked up a used set of Gumbo Monster Mudder 38's.

It had a 4spd manual with a sloppy 208 case. Swapping that for a 400TH and NP205.

The old 350 had some shavings in the pan, So we are gonna build up an old 4bolt main and put some TBI heads on it and stick with the TBI.

We'll run that until we come across all the parts for an LSx swap.

Here are some pics.

She is nothing to write home about!

you guys move quick. I wish it were easier to come across these square body trucks in better shape in the midwest Oh well, dealing with rust just makes me a better fabricator......at least that what I keep telling myself.

Ya Midwest rust sucks... BUT every once in a while, you find a gem from the south that migrated up this way! This is the best one we have ever got our hands on that we didn't have to travel for.
