Exclamation Indianapolis 500 Edition

Hello all. I am new to this site.
I am looking for a truck and found an Indianapolis 500 Chevy down the road from me at a used lot. Don't know the price yet seeings how they are closed today for some reason.
What is the average price for one? I do not know much about chevy's(I owned a 93 Lightning and will dread every morning that I do not have it to drive). So what did they come with, ect. the whole 20 question thing here....
The truck looks pretty good, the interior looks very well taken car of, but the truck has a few dings and a very small rust spot. I didn't get to see the engine. Thanks in advance for all the info.

John

what year is it

we need more info to tell you anything

if its a 88-98 model year like i think it is it ( im pretty sure the obs indy 500s are all v8)will be a 5.0L (305) or 5.7L (350) Vortec engine - not very performance oriented

its a gen 2 gm v8, same generation as the lt1/lt4

should have the 700r4 if its an automatic or NV3500 if its a 5speed

i dont know a whole lot about these trucks just tellin ya what i do know some others should chime in

IMO the best hing to do performance wise is to swap to a LSx v8 (Gen 3) or swap to a Gen1 carb'd v8. LSx would be a better daily driver ( and can make as much or more power but its whatever you prefer

It has an auto trans. in it and I think it is a 93. I found one other one on ebay that was a 93 same body with a V8, but didn't say what size.
