alright so i recently had my transmission go bad in my 97 k1500 so i pulled it out and bought a rebuild kit and rubuilt it, well 2 days ago i out it in and after filling it, i went to start it and i got nothing, i just here the relay for my push button starter clicking, i have a good charge for my battery, also i had to replace the module that bolts to the driver side of the transmission, i had to replace a section of the pig tail and the module, well i traced part of the problem down to the fuse block, i noticed that the "engine 1" 20A fuse in the fuse block was blown, so i replaced it and as soon as i went to start it it got blown again, does anyone know what that fuse goes to?

I'm just going to guess, part of either the engine "on" circuit... of which yours has a short. without knowing how the wiring runs on these things, I'm guessing that circuit also gives power feed to the starter relay.

The Engine 1 fuse is a pink wire that goes to the Camshaft Position Sensor in the distributor.
From there, the cam position sensor feeds into the vehicle control module. A Pink/black wire - ground, and a brown white wire which is your 1X cam signal.
Did you pinch the harness when you put the trans bellhousing to the block?
The cam position sensor is located in the distributor, so it is likely that the wires may have been pinched or cut.
