Diesel Surburbon first timer 1999 GMC
Need a rig for the winter,found a 1999 GMC 2500 suburban, 4500 with 140,000 miles on it with the 6.5 diesel in it, clean rig, needs a block heater and a door lock relay.
What issues can I look out for? Injector pump was just replaced in June 2013 and it just had a entire fluid change at 130,000,front to rear, but that was when he bought the truck four years ago, and has only put 10,000 on it since then.
if I can score it cheap enough I can see it lasting for a while,if not it will be a great donor for a Duramax swap later down the road.
Has been sitting for two months on account of his job, works for snap on driving the tool truck and has another vehicle to drive anybody here own or owned one and give me any info on what to look out for??
