I'd rather do the Marine Intake as this needs to stay emissions legal (hence the small cam).

With that intake, fuel system, and stock exhaust manifolds/y-pipe/cats, it will never be a screamer. You could design your build to perform well from 1500-4500 rpm, and it would be much better than stock, but it are you looking to race, or tow?

I'm looking to at least ditch the stock exhaust in favor of some long tubes with dual 2.5" exhaust.

Mostly just a DD with some good down low torque for some off roading and some light to light Friday nights.

With the stock exhaust, probably 310-320hp. With the headers/exhaust and a retune for the engine, 365-375hp. With that design, its built for torque...not hp.

with the spider injectors and the stock manifolds, your not going to be making all that much and your going to run into problems with running lean up top, so id imagine right around 300, i was going to do that to mine but i took what i just said into consideration and thats why i am now going to go with an LS1 swap

stock those vortec 5.7's put out around 255hp to the flywheel i believe... i dont see why it shouldnt put down right at 300hp to the flywheel... maybe about 270hp to the wheels? sounds like a bottom end torque motor with that cam setup and the stroker crank... would make a great towing truck IMO. ive always wanted to put a 400sbc with full vortec top end into a '96+ 4x4 silverado... sounds like a cool project you got there. keep it fuel injected, do some exhuast work though.
