I just picked up a FLEX FUEL intake tonight, there getting kinda tough to find. I've been looking awhile. Everything is coming together....

FYI...In case you didn't know the FF intakes use larger injectors. I think they're 33lb or 36lb vs the 26lb regular 5.3 stuff. = more fuel pressure + more flow...

Never mind guys, I found one at O'reilly AP for 20.00. Looked for a 2k vette fuel filter and there it was. Cheap enough. Now to find the fittings.

Just ordered 5.3 today. PSI beehive valve springs are on the way. Cam is going to cam grinder by the end of the week. Having a RE-GRIND of GM's ASA LS1 cam...should be pretty nasty sounding, can't beat 75 bucks vs 400...

I will take pics soon and post....

Subscribed. I am doing a similar swap in an '84 C10. Just wondering if its more cost effective to get a 4l60e instead of reusing the stock th350.

Word of Caution. Those Orielly's house brand filters are cheap to buy and cheaply made. Don't use anything but WIX. ( WIX also supplies AC delco on this part )

I have had two of Orielly's house brand filters go into bypass on me and lean my engine WAY out, a little tough to diagnose. Spend the money and get a WIX!
