Talking Run to the Sun

Prepping the truck for the Myrtle Beach SC big car show this weekend. It's been raining here since Saturday night so waxing the truck inside the garage.
I think it looks pretty good and didn't even use the detailer yet!

Thumbs up New to me...

I picked up a complete 7" chrome booster and master cylinder with brackets and rods for $150.00 a few weeks ago. I started installing it yesterday and will finish today I hope. I got it mounted but have to bench bleed the master before I install it.

Wink Power

Sorry man it's been awhile my mom passed away last week and just haven't felt like posting are even looking.

Yea the 6.0 is so much better than the 305 TPI engine. It gets about the same milage though. But it's a lot funner to drive now.
Got some new goodies for the truck yesterday...electric/heated buckets out of a 99 Tahoe. I got my electrical buddy here at work to figure out the wiring so I hope to have heat on them tonight. I will start installing them in a few weeks. I bought a 70 model center console last night to match them.
I got the seats 2 sets of shoulder harnesses and a rear view mirror with temp and compass all for $135.00.

Default Mom

Thanks man. She had been fighting a loosing battle with Alzheimer's disease.
It was expected but it wasn't easy. My duaghter is staying with my dad for a few weeks to help him. He is 89 now.

I worked on the seats last night. Got the passenger side heat working but the drivers side isn't so I will pull the cover off tonight and see if I can find a broke wire. Not get any signal back at the pigtail going into the heater pad.
Checked it with my meter and nothing so I hope it's a broke wire.

no problem, still sucks though, but at least she doesn't have to suffer anymore. good to hear that your getting the wiring and stuff figured out on the seats. they should be a nice addition.

Wink Heat!

Pulled the seat cover last night and took a look inside it to find several breaks in the heater pad. I soilder them back together but no luck. Oh well I'll buy some replacements I guess. Every place I fixed I wraped with black tape.

Wink Mirror

I worked on the mirror last night. I got it wired up and checked it out everything works. All it needs is the wires extended on the probe to reach the front end of the vehicle.
