Default 1999 5.3 vortec intake manifold upgrade

I am wanting to upgrade from the stock truck intake manifold to a more classic appearance intake manifold but keep the fuel injection. I think the classic air filter will look better in my 1954 Chevy truck than the current stock one.
My question is can I purchase
1. LS Classic Series GMLS3006 14 Inch Classic Intake or something similar, this was just a quick example. Use my stock injectors.
2. Purchase a Holley or Edelbrock drive by cable throttle body with required sensors and plug into my stock wiring harness
3. Already have HP tuners account so having any adjustments made should be easy,

Or am I missing something trying to make this too easy

Thanks for any information

We have used this on a similar style intake manifold and fit a 70s transam shaker hood/filter setup on it. Drives very nice with the progressive linkage on rear secondary.

Thanks for the reply. If you don't mind me asking, how did you plumb the fuel pressure regulator? Did you mount to the rails or did you remote mount? I am trying to get everything planned out before I make the purchase of parts. My 1954 chevy truck is riding on the 1999 chassis so I have all the original plumbing to work with so trying to not have to run anything extra.

On that car we just mounted the FPR and filter to the frame rail where it was easy to get to.
