if you dont have a flat 15mm gear wrench, go get one. that way you can sit on the engine and remove the top tranby bolt without pulling the intake, and a hell of alot easier than dicking with an assload of extensions to get it from the bottom of the truck

Thanks good to know. I do happen to have a 15 mm gear wrench so I will put it to good use.

I got the tracking number from Chuck today and the transmission is scheduled for delivery on Monday so I will be over it all week until the time comes to put it in.

i drank beer with mine for almost a week while i waited on its converter. its a pretty quiet drinking partner, and demands that expensive import beer vince says, but it still enjoys going to chase women with me every now and then.

Picked up the tranny today and it looks sweet! I can't wait to get it put in, only 4 more days of driving around with no stinkin second gear. Maybe if I am real lucky my HP Tuners will show up before the weekend, although I am rarely that lucky.

So I was just wondering how the snow is gonna affect anyone's decision to help with my tranny install?...
Just so you all know I will be doing what ever is necessary to fit the truck in the garage and fire up the Kerosene heater. I don't like being cold!
I can't stand driving around with a broken transmission any longer.
