My friend is looking for some parts for his 56 Chevy project. Next week is spring break for us, so we have a week to go hunting for parts, and maybe a 6.0 for me

Anybody know of any good yards around here besides G&R?

 

Try OKC Pick-Up Parts for the 6.0 (877-672-3865). We got a bed from them for my dads sonoma. Dunno what kind of prices they would come up with on an engine tho.

its not really in ur area but St. Louis salvage has a lot of different kinda of vehicles in their salvage yard i know they have a 6.0 there and its pretty cheap not sure on the price but they like to trade too

 

Well We went hunting yesterday and found a place that had 27 '60-'66 TRUCKS!! No place had a 6.0 though. The one place in town that does have a lq4 wants $1500 for a bare block.
