Needs a tune really bad,running really rich,mpg sucks,but as far as wot throttle it screams,that 228R in there is a beast,I did a 40mph roll on some 'guy' in a 04 ext cab short bed 5.3 and broke it off something fierce, it also broke loose when I put my foot to the floor,brand new 4L60E hanging on for the ride,see how long that lasts.
I got about 500 or so miles on it and have changed the oil three times,each time getting less and less material out of it,have since swapped filters over to the PF61 so it would hold some more oil,gonna swap over to a full synthetic on the next change before the dyno this Friday so I am out putting miles on it.

Does your buddy got anything else like those seats? GTO?vette?SS truck?

 

It's such a cluster **** in his building I don't know what he has. He has close to 1000 wheels with tires on them and piles of stuff in between them.

 

c6 z06 vette wheels? How about either 4thgen fbody brake calipers/ rotors or vette calipers/rotors?

 

Sounds like a Fantastic place! I could use just about any bucket seats for my 70 Chevelle - The pleather plastic race buckets need to go at some point.

 

I moved some vette wheels to get to my seats, but I'm not up on my vette wheels, so I don't know what they were. Get me a picture.

I work at a garage door company, so I am in a bunch of garages every day. There are a lot of places that are similar to his out there, but most people are hoarders, and don't want to get rid of anything.

Not much here, trucks on jack stands since the beginning of December. Manual to auto swap is getting there.

 

I got a new girl friend and we have been spoiling each other,I could use a set of injectors if anybody has a lead on some Marine 8.1's?

 

Sent the Shovel converter out to get tightened up. Upping boost, and holding on come spring.
