Default New to Performance trucks, not so new to trucks

i just recently picked up a SCSB 2006 silverado WT. It has the 5.3 liter flex engine in it. where do i start? Heads, Cams, intake, exhaust? so many ways to go my head is spinning.. Id like to keep the economy as I'm getting 22mpg with the truck already but a lil off the top wouldn't hurt. What can i start saving for to pick up some ponies? Id like to be around 450-500 rwhp when its all said and done. A highway monster if you will.

I can post up some pics later.

*EDIT* heres a picture

if ya can tell me how far the truck is dropped, id like to know as well. I have no idea on the stock height. Im assuming a 3/4 Its springs with a plastic spacer up front, and shackles and mounts in the rear.

Welcome man!

You want 450-500 to the wheels?

Turbo or supercharger and supporting mods will get ya there, roughly 10 grand when your finished but it sure is fun !

turbo, cam, and exhaust. Dont forget about the trans. The stock 4L60E will not last. A built 60e may keep up but a stock 80E with a shift kit would be ideal.
