OK, who here in the KC area is the tranny/programming expert of LS engines? I need to know if I can get a '94 4l60e to work with an LS engine. I've read probably 300 times that it would be 'better' if I'd just use a trans with the PWM, but that's not what I'm asking. I've done some research. The internal harnesses are the same between a '94 and an '01(year of my 5.3 donor). I have 2 different pcms, I have 2 different vins, I can put whatever vin I want into either pcm, I have schematics/pinouts for both years, but no one has been able to give me a straight answer yes or no if I can use the '94 trans with an LS.

Anyone?

you have to run 1 ecm with one vin number. you can run an aftermarket tcm controller to avoid all of that jazz and have to codes in the ecm turned off for it's loss of communication to the trans
