Default Emissions testing in IL

I just recently moved to IL from CA and unfortunately i live in one of the few counties that requires emissions testing. Does anyone know what that all entails? Will i have a problem considering i have a supercharger? I installed the Radix when i still lived in CA and it's has a CARB number... considering CA has the strictest emissions laws i couldn't imagine it being an issue, but you never know.

I'll probably pull out the LTs and put back the shorties and stock Y before i get tested. Does anyone know if i can have LTs AND CATs (welded in or something like the ARH or Dynatechs) and still pass?

thanks

does the test have to be conducted in your county? just order a catted y pipe for your lts and make sure your tune has the codes deleted so ur cel doesnt come on.

Yes, my county requires emissions testing. I do my own tuning with HPTuners and i've already turned off my rear O2s. No CEL... ever

You'll be completely fine with everything, as long as your not throwing codes. What town did you move to

I'm just moved to the Chain of Lakes area in the Northwest Suburbs. I lived beach front back in San Diego but made a deal with my wife that i'll move to the mid-west if we can find a house ON the lake with boat parking ON the lake. Once we found the house that we liked and on the water, we both took orders to the area.

So, as long as i tune out my rear O2's and i'm not throwing any codes i'm good to go?

yep no codes = good to go

They changed things up a few years back and got rid of the exhaust testing, so catted-y's are even necessary. I haven't had one in years, lol. good luck, and congrats on the new place. The weather sucks here though, I would rather have nice sunny or rainy weather
