how do you know what push rods you need before you check them. Are you sure the cam lobes have the same base circle, head gasket can play a roll, even switching lifters will affect the push rod needed. Are the heads stock, if not they could be decked, or aftermarket heads even have a thicker deck on them. And then preload is a per person thing, ask 10 guys and they will tell you 10 different preloads that they each like. Just want to make sure you don't order the wrong ones and do this

Hows the tech there? If they tech like great lakes you could run 10's with out a roll cage, if they tech like route 66..... i'm gonna review the nhra rules.
