WTS/WTT 2005 GTO, Auto, IBM $8200
#1
I am thinking about selling my GTO. It would make a great template for anyone that wants to build a racecar. I spun a rod bearing in the LS2 a year ago. I had the cylinder walls honed 0.005 over and the crank reground. It needs to still be put back together. This give you the option to put the block back together how you want it with the parts you want. I have most of the internal accesories but some will need to be replaced. I have all external accesories such as alternator, power steering pump, etc..
The car was in an accident about 2 years ago. The damage was cosmetic and I have the pictures of the damage down below. The work was done by Scuderi Autobody in Rockville, MD and they did a fantastic job in the repairs. After I purchased the vehicle I noticed the rear muffler has some welds on it. I'm not sure why, but nothing shows up on carfax.
The transmission has about 95k miles on it but ran with no issues before the engine failure. I had it flushed, a real flush, at about 85k miles.
The car has Kooks long tube headers installed.
The reason for selling is I just want to get down to one vehicle during the purchase of my new house, or another one with no payments. Once I get the home I'm a little more interested in getting an old 40's LaSalle or 50's Deville. I'm not as interested in the racing game anymore and just got married. I think I just want something to cruise around in on the weekends that is classic.
$8600 with Kooks - $8200 without. Firm on the price because I want out of the payments.
I'd be interested in trades for a truck. I like the 4.8L Sierras/Silverados. Maybe a 4 door car.
I will get some pictures with my username tomorrow. Sorry for them missing at the moment.
