I’ve decided to put up my 2001 ZX6R up for sale. IT TRULY IS ONE OF A KIND AND LOOKS UNLIKE ANY BIKE THAT I HAVE SEEN ON THE ROAD. This bike is meant to get attention! Definitely that makes you both SEEN and HEARD!

The reason for the sale is I just don’t feel like my heart is in riding anymore – I have only been out a handful of times this year after I put a lot of money (over 1000, please don’t make me count) into parts, paint, and other modifications. I don’t think work will be getting any better as far as time and there is a possibility that I will be traveling next year out of the country on a consistent basis. I have no need to sell it, but I would rather see the bike go to someone who can really enjoy it as much as I did. The bike has been ridden and has about 15k miles on it – and will run for 4 times that. If you don’t know about Kawasaki’s and this motor, they will run forever.

This bike runs extremely strong. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the motor, transmission, clutch, etc. This bike is very FAST, while it is not a liter bike (1000) or other it is still a top performing bike that Kawasaki still produces to this very day. Especially with the modifications I think I should be able to fairly state that this bike can easily keep up and even pass many brand new bikes in the 600 class. That being said, this was also my first bike and I was able to handle it with a smart head on my shoulders and never went down on it.


Mods (all of which have been installed in the last 300 miles this May-June):
- Custom Metallic Copper Paint (looks orangish to redish in the light – hard to get good pics of it. LOOKS AMAZING!!!
- Black painted frame/swingarm
- Graphite/Gunmetal Painted Rims
- Shaved Tail (no ugly use-less handles or signals)
- UK ECU (this is a computer imported from the UK that is EXTREMELY hard to find in the US. It goes for a few hundred dollars. It not only INCREASES horsepower but also improves gas mileage and how the bike runs/sounds. This is possible because it allows the bike to flow better in many ways that the US part restricted).
- HEAVY DUTY frame sliders (not just the cheap bolt on ones – these will actually save your bike if you ever happen to down it).
- Clear Alternatives LED Tail Light w/Integrated Blinkers
- Flush mount LED smoked front turn signals
- Black 03-04 636 Header (direct bolt-on)
- Black Ceramic Coated Pinebox Screamer
- 520 Conversion: -1, +2 Sprockets (back is custom special ordered “stealth sprocket”)

- Motul (great expensive stuff) oil changes every 2000-3000 miles.

Mods that were put on last year:

- Tinted windscreen

Also included with sale with be original parts that I have such as old chain and sprockets (15/40), US ECU (not California version), stock header, stock exhaust pipe, stock tail light, and stock handles.

IF YOU DO NOT LIKE or NEED SOME OF THE ABOVE PARTS THEY CAN EASILY BE SOLD FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS. If you remove the screamer exhaust, 636 header, UK ECU, and chain and sprockets, you should easily be able to get hundreds of dollars back if you do not need these parts.

I will ALSO include a medium HJC black/silver helmet with sale.

I can also reduce the price if modifications are not wanted. Like I stated before, I would prefer to sell together, but I am willing to talk if you would like parts taken off.

I feel that my price is fair for the mods that are on the bike as well as the condition and money that has been put into it. It has been taken care of. It LOOKS and SOUNDS unlike anything else on the road. Why spend over 8k on a new bike when you can get this one...already modified and custom done up for half the price or less.
