Was finding E85 any problem on drag week? I'm not too experienced with E85 so bear with me, but what all would be involved in going back to gas? I dont know of any E85 stations in my area.

Would make for a killer weekend ride.

http://www.afdc.energy.gov/afdc/locator/stations/

we had no problem at all finding e85 but i did go with a big list of all the stations where we were going to be traveling. the car will go 300 highway miles on a tank of e85 so it was easy to keep it filled up.

to change over wouldn't be too bad and partly depends on your power goals. if you have good 93 octane you could see how far that gets you. dump it in and retune. i would expect to see somewhere in the 7-9psi range before you ran into knock.

if you only have 91 octane or want more power than 7-9psi will give you then you would need to run the meth kit. i am including the meth kit with the car and it one of the best kits out there. trunk mount, progresive control, 2 gallon tank. the car is still wired and plumbed for the meth kit, i just pulled the main assembly out of the trunk since i was no longer using it.

hardest part of putting the meth kit back it would be tuning it. before i was running a ton of meth to make up for too small of a fuel system. tuning for a big meth hit is tricky and takes some time. now there is lots of primary fuel so you would only need to run enough meth to squash the knock. should be much easier to tune then what i was doing.
