I almost didnt believe it, I woke up yesterday and turned on the news like normal and they were going nuts about flash flood alerts and severe rain fall warnings and were showing the early stages of it yet at my place it was barely spitting. then it kept raining all day and the news is on all day today not just mornings like normal and I guess they had to evacuate 100,000 people, they've shut down the downtown, there's already 600 military personnel here and another 600 on the way, cops from a town 3 hours away are here, i've never seen anything like this!

My house and truck are safe up on the hill. I heard the Saddledome had water up to the 10th row of seats. It's quite a catastrophe. And I'm not talking about the gas prices in that first picture.

Well that's good man! I'm I'm brentwood so I'm pretty safe but if anything I'd happen I'd go park it at my friends place up in rocky ridge! And the dome is up to the 13th row now!

Man that sucks!I lived there for 20 years, and saw more than a few floods in High River and down south, but never anything like that. Most of my wife's family had to be evacuated as a precaution, but luckily no water yet,its stressful enough for her being this far away, can't imagine what is must feel like there at the scene.
