Will 1500 leaf springs fit a 2500hd? I am thinking about swapping so I can ride on the airbags.
Anyone done this?

NO.... I believe they might physically be different in size. They may fit, but your putting a lighter spring rated for a lighter load. The 2500HD is a much heavier truck all the way around.

If it's just to lower, do it at your own risk. If your putting any kind of weight including multiple passengers, DON'T DO IT!!! If the Spring Fails, your going to be in a world of hurt.

What about removing a leaf from the pack??? Doesn't an HD have a large stack of like 5 leafs???

I am adding helper bags also. I figured they could take most of the weight. I really should leave it along. Safety of the issue I dont think would be a problem because of the bags. I have thought about taking the bottom leaf out. I am just not sure how to do that without scewing up the srpings.

Lower it a little make it ride better. On my other truck I could let the air out of the bags back under a trailer and air the bags back up. Very conveniant.
