Default towing with a lifted duramax???

has anyone towed a 24-30 foot enclosed trailer with a lifted duramax? i have a 6" lift for my 04 ECSB duramax and i am not sure how the truck will tow once the lift is on the truck. my trailer is a 28 foot enclosed car trailer that i haul my 81 camaro in to the track. once lifted the truck will have 20's and 35's. besides getting a custom drop hitch made with sway bar attachments in it i dont know what else to do to? any help is appreciated. im driving myself nuts trying to figure this out on my own.

might wanna look into airbags and a drop hitch, maybe also a sway control for the rear leafs.

My buddy towed with his all the time. Until he sold the trailer. With no problems at all. Just had a decent drop hitch.

You should be fine. I have towed a 16ft enclosed trailer weighing roughly 6,000lbs with a F350 that had a 8"lift and 38s. It was just fine pulling at 75mph for a 500 mile trip. just get GOOD drop ball mount that will make the trailer set level.

That's no problem at all. I met a guy who towed his big ***, enclosed car trailer with a SuperDuty on 40s. Just add airbags.

I prefer the Firestone with the optional ride control. Comes with compressor, gauges, & switches. If your truck is lifted, you will need to get airbag spacers. 4" lift=4" spacer to keep the bags from over extending during droop travel

Swaybars do not connect to the hitch. They run parallel to the rear axle and connect to the frame via end links. Are you refering to a load leveling hitch set-up?

you dont really need airbags!! i towed 2 cars on a trailer to the track and i have a 6" suspen. and a 3" body and im only a 1500 and have the weak 10 bolt rearend.....you have a diesel and a full floating 14 bolt rear end......you should tow that sucker with ease.......
