Im new here and havnt had much time to read and research but i got a 8.1 with mods and im tuning with JET DST tuning software. My truck just seems like theres still TM im missing or cant get rid of. As far as i can tell i have but 1st and 2nd gear seem like one power and 3rd and up seems quicker. I have 3:73 gears with 285/75r16 tires and i no that dont help and i do have an Allison tranny. Any info would help, I can say I beat a dodge ram halfton Hemi in a little friendly drag race, not bad considering my truck weighs almost 1 ton more.

 

TM is in the trans parameters and IIRC Jet cannot tune the trans... The trans parameters in the PCM do not affect the trans shifting.

 

Can you log spark advance? If you still have TM will you see the timing drop and a big down spike at the shift.

I did all tq management delete, drive line abuse off, and throttle delay off. To be honest it not one bit quicker, but man you can feel the tq.
