Default PLEASE HELP:possable fuel issue

My truck is cutting out as i step on the throtle. like lack of fuel? It has just under 150000 miles & I changed the fuel filter less then 1000 miles ago. As it shifts gears it gains speed but it takes a long time just to get to 30 mph. What could be the problem? I have been running commercial bio diesel for over 100 miles with no issue till now. I was gonna change the filter in the front again but I dont think that will fix the issue is there another filter that might need to be changed? Or could the problem be worst like injectors or injector pump? Also I noticed white smoke at idle every so offten But that has been an issue for more then 6 months way before bio diesel & it smells like bio diesel & not oil. Even when I was on pure diesel it smelled like diesel.

Also maybe someone from South Florida arealike Miami or Ft Lauderdale area can recomend a good & honest mechanic that works on diesels?

Thanks
Scott

no codes are comming on the orange screen. Last week I noticed it doing it but yesterday it was much worse. If it was in reduced power mode it should not get worse should it? How do I reset it if it is in this mode?

Thanks for responding

the white smoke at idle is probly injectors, thats what my dads did when his injectors needed replaced. the good news is the warranty on the injectors is 200,000 miles. i would try a new fuel filter too. my neighbor is the sm at the gm dealership in town and they have some trucks come back 500 miles after a filter change and they are plugged. if you get new injectors on warranty, the dealership will change the filter while their at it. this new uls diesel is garbage

since your truck is new to biodiesel id try replacing the filter again....biodiesel has much better lubrication properties than the ulsd and lsd and has probably "cleaned" your fuel system
