put in duralast # 15898- but I am not seeing any lower temperature. rather than try another of the same- which is the only one I have found any reference to on numerous forums- can somebody provide me with an alternative supplier/part #??? Ed, Whippled/ Kerr (btw Shawn, just got the muffler installed finally and it sounds SWWWEEEETTTT!!)

getting an in-person Blackbear tune in a few weeks so I really wanted to get the tstat in before then.

granted, it is in the 90's here today- but after install I am seeing maybe 6 degrees cooler if that much- not what I was hoping for....

 

Well If i could acess the fullsizechevy forum i could get you the stant number. I am waiting for a tune from blackbear as well. Be sad if you get yours before i get mine

Awesome! glad it worked well for you... I was kinda nervious because its hard to explain how one sounds and what is loud to one person isnt to the other..

As for the T stat i got mine at autozone.. But if im not mistaken they have either 180 or a 190 in them stock.

with the 180 in mine and the big electric fans it runs about 190 on the gauge where as bone stock it ran 195-200 so not a huge difference
