Default Higher mileage dmax?

Im thinking about getting a Dmax (always wanted one) I found what i think is a decent deal. The truck is an 03 with 117xxx miles. I know about the injector problems, but what else should i look for? How do you guys feel about higher mileage dmaxs? I know plenty of people with high mile cummins and power stokes, just dont hear much about the chevys. Heres the truck in question http://www.1ststatechevy.com/VehicleDetails/846207593

Looks like a clean truck, but with those miles, I wouldnt give them nor than $16k max for it.

As far as them lasting, you dont have much to worry about. those engines can go 500k easy as long as there taken care of from the start.

Truck is worth 14 out the door at most though. I sold my fully loaded 06 with full cognito upgrades and a few performance upgrades for 21 a little over a year ago.

I cant find the truck on that web page but just do the usual. Beat them down on price.. I have some friends with 200+k on duramx... yea stuff goes wrong but they fix them and ride.. I think the biggest problem with "worked" trucks is the transmission...

id get on kbb and see what trade in is on it... then walk in offer that for the truck lol..
Remember you cant go lower than the fist offer lol!

Also if you do a programmer it will kill then trasnmission... Jermery at rpm off road said they have had good luck with with a internal shift kit and few other parts in the trans..
