Default Fuel rail plug or not on 09 lmm

Was told adding a plug to my fuel rail will add power didn't know if anyone knew more on this subject any input is welcomed!

You mean a race plug? If that's it all it helps from throw rail pressure codes when u have a big tune in it I have that and a ported rail fitting to help keep rail pressure up

Ok well I have the plug. Just need direction on how and where to install. I understand I take out the pressure regulator and put the plug in its place but any helpful tips on installation so that I don't have to completely tear my engine apart to get to it would be great.
