Default Flex-A-Lite electric fan kit for an 8.1L

Anyone tried one yet? I looked around this week at the PRI Show, Flex-A-Lite is the only company that seems to offer a kit. I can build a shroud out of aluminum and mount a set of 16" SPAL fans, but I would just as soon buy something as I'm pressed for time, that I need for other projects.

I didn't know anyone made a E-fan kit for the 8.1's. I'll have to check it out.

Thanks, DEWFPO

I stumbled across them at the PRI Show this weekend. Had good luck with their products before.

I checked the flex-a-lite website and couldn't find anything for the 8.1L. Does anyone have a Link?

Thanks, DEWFPO

It was in the paper catalog. I have a copy, I'll dig into the stuff that came from the show and organize it in a day or two. Being gone for 3-4 days means I have to work 5 times as hard for a week to catch up and fix what other people screw up while I'm gone.

No need to spend big money go to the yard and get fans from 6.0 while you're in there grab the fuse box and everything shouldn't run more than 100 bucks. I got mine for 65.00 and they work great I dont tow everyday just every once and a while. Towed 8k from El Paso to New Mexico and thats not flat land and everything was fine!
