EGR block off? on a 8.1L

Default EGR block off? on a 8.1L

If i can get a few hours today ill have the motor back together.. are you all keeping the EGR or blocking it off. I know on the camaros we blocked it off... I just dont recall any one doing it on the 8.1L

i did it on my 6.0 when i put it in. retuned and all is well

I blocked mine off but I also had the computer reprogramed so I wouldn't have any issues. I just made a block off plate for it and one for my headers.

eliminating the egr did it help with intake man temps.. benifits to doing so?

doing a whipple engine right now and trying to make sure all my ducks are in a row.. i have westers doing my tune
