Does anyone know who makes a good set of headers for 6.0 trucks?

From what research I've done, in order to make sure I don't lose low-mid range torque, I'll need long tubes with about 1 5/8 equal length primary's. What Im trying to find is something that will work in a 4x4 truck with out fabrication. I know people who have used f-body long tubes but had to do some cutting. If anyone knows of such a thing any help would be appreciated!

Black bear performance sells the tri-y headers that I heard are suppose to be pretty good.... I personally got 1 7/8 primary ARH headers from them. Talk to them about a tune to go with them.

i bought some Texas speed performance headers and they worked good and sound good, only had to grind down the oil dipstick a bit. and go with the 1 7/8

How is the fitment with them? Do they rub the steering rack at all?

They fit perfect, they do rub a little on a small L shape spacer on he bolt for the steering I just cut that L shape spacer and it was fine.. I like them little up in price but I think it's worth it

I put a set of stainless works 1 5/8 with 2.5 collectors on my 03 2500hd, they bolted right up and cleared everything perfectly. I had the rest of the exhaust custom made so i'm not sure if it fits with factory exhaust. These aren't cheap at all but they fit perfect.

On 6.0 go with 1 3/4 or 1 7/8, look at speed engineerings headers, for price yiu cant go wrong!!!

I only suggested the stainless works since i know for sure they fit perfectly. At the time I should if bought the speed engineering headers and tried them, but they didn't have any connecting pipes to make both run down the passenger side (duals) like stock. They do now tho, they have a 3 inch dual exhaust kit. This kit is still less that 1/2 of what the sw header kit cost. Honestly if you wanna save cash try em out, wolf was dead on with that.

I did the Speed Engineering 1 7/8's with their x-pipe duals kit. Truck is a 2003 1500HD 2WD, once the tune was tweaked I think it actually gained some low/mid power. Fitment required a bit of creativity but overall ended up fitting pretty good.

Love the fit and finish of my Stainless Works headers and ory, if I knew then what I know now I could've saved a bunch of money. :bang:
