Default Continuation pt 2

I went with local take off heads/valves. Everything else remains.
After 12 miles I got a check engine light and it's still on after 115 miles. I stopped by my local garage ( does my stickers legitimately)and he wanted to look under the hood. When he popped it I could swear I heard rocker noise(on top)and I've never heard it on my truck before. I always hear it from my and everyone else's e46!

Should we/they have replaced he rockers and/or lifters/springs?

What say the forum?

BTW, it chirps in second and third when stomped on; it never did that before either.

what did the code say? longtubes, no cats and upgraded valvesprings tend to make the valvetrain louder. i called my old Silverado an LS1 sewing machine.

Thanks for the reply TXsilverado.
We didn't check codes since the only one on duty was a jr tech and he didn't offer but the owner will be back today and I'll try to get by before the last 20minutes of the workday.

So, they would have upgraded the valvesprings/the new valves would have come with them?

Default Code

Bank 2 sensor 1. Oxygen sensor. Bought one, ran home at lunch, got on the wet ground and found an unplugged bank 2 sensor 1. Ran by the shop, got the code cleared and been running great.

However, I have an ABS light(yellow) on, accompanied by the brake(red)light. For years this has been an occasional issue, usually corrected by topping off the brake fluid reservoir but not any more. No loss in stopping power. My tech recommended a flush/suck out. I've never heard of the sucking of fluid; just flushing of fluid!
