Best 07 diesel tuning
#1
Is it better to have a custom tune or something like edge, bullydog, that I can turn up and down? I'm new to diesel pickups and would like to know some other ways to add power like exhaust systems. Is a catback system just as good as going down to the local exhaust shop and having the run a system.....I think I could get a cheaper, but better exhaust without having to buy it from a parts house......give me some good input

[QUOTE=nightrunner]one word, EFILive
how easy is it to learn it? I would really like to get the built tranny, but the wife is buying truck, lift, wheels/tires, already......she'd probably be pissed....but you difinitely think the way I do

Depends on what you get. EFI Live will start around $700 or so and then if you purchase it with a race tune the price goes up. Go to thedieselplace and everything you need to know is there. I strongly recommend a Stage IV or V tranny and converter with those tunes. A race tune and Exhaust will be putting 500-550 to the tires alone so with stock tranny you won't last long.
