Default Anyone playing with the 15+ HD gassers?

On the hunt for an HD truck to replace the charger. Charger is getting to small and after 13yrs of sports cars, I’m ready for something bigger. As nice as a diesel would be, people will need to lay down the crack pile before I pay what they want for one new or used.

Who has played with a newer 6.0 in an HD? How’s the mileage? I’m assuming tune//headers//intake//cat back are the way to go still? Anyone supercharged one?

Same ole 6.0 and 6l80 so the usual mods should take care of power production. Sounds like that would be a fun rigg with a charger. I love my 16, rides nice, looks good and seems to beholding up well so far.

Following I just bought a 2010 and I'm wanting to supercharge mine as well. Trying to get some of that diesel torque for when i'm towing.

2010's are easier to tune than 2015+ that's for sure.

True but they’ve got too many miles for me. This will probably end up being a daily and I do 20-25,000 miles a year.

My 2010 regular cab has more torque than my 16 CC Duramax. It's super fun to drive, I swear nothing beats a PD blower for bottom end torque!

2011 plus the ECM sucks *** too play with. It's an unresponsive turd of a computer with a bunch of tables that show up on HP and are more or less non functional. I had a bunch of "tuna's" try and fix some stupid issues with my 2017's tune and every single one of them failed lol. I had originally planned headers and a cam but ended up not bothering and then sold the truck around a year ago. I am about to do cam and converter to couple to the headers I already have on my 2013 6.2 truck. Way more user friendly with an e38... like a 2010 or older HD.

Nope.

Once a E78 truck always a E78 truck. Unless you remove everything, make it a roller and put in a E38 harness/dash/cluster etc etc etc and computer.

I'm talking the 2015+ body style here.
