Default Another question regarding my cab swap

The new cab has the wires for the drive by wire not the cable. Will taking the wire harness from that engine let it work? Is there any other sensors i might have to worry about? The only other wires that look different is the harness that goes along the frame to the fuel pump. I should be able to use the old one and just take it apart from the fuse panel right? Im not sure if there's certain sensors along that.

Use the correct wiring harnesses for your application. Some of the Plugs changed throughout the years as well as the wiring colors if you have to do diagnostic work.

That's what I'm asking though. Will i be able to get away with just using the engine wire harness? The harness that leads to the pump is a whole different one than the current and seems like i would have to add a canister that isnt already on the older one.
